With pavilions that range from 11,000 m² to approximately 23,000 m², located in Barra da Tijuca, Riocentro provides full infrastructure for concerts and parties. In addition to a parking lot for up to 7,000 cars and 150 buses, the space has a high-standard hotel.
Managed by GL events' Brazilian operation since 2006, one of the world’s largest companies in the events industry, headquartered in France, Riocentro already hosted a great number of Brazilian and international artists, such as David Guetta, Ivete Sangalo, DJ Tiesto, Fat Boy Slim, Chiclete com Banana, Jorge and Mateus and Exaltasamba, among others.

With wide areas, mezzanines, air-conditioning system, medical service, internet and telephony, electrical power, water and waste management distributed through its underground channels, toilets and loading and unloading areas for up to 17 trucks, Riocentro is the ideal place for those seeking for safety, space, practicality and quality.

Riocentro also counts on the amphitheater that was designed aiming at the venue versatility. It has 7.2 thousand m² and ceiling height of 15 meters, able to host several cultural events, conventions, congresses and concerts. There are almost 3,000 seats and total audience capacity of 10,000 people. With an unheard-of architecture in Rio de Janeiro, the venue was constructed so that all sustaining pillars remain outside the floor area - as within a large box. Built with international technology, the work brings, for example, air conditioning ducts prepared with light materials which may be easily accommodated in the roof and around the structure, without any kind of interference in the structure.
Idealized to house large audiences, the venue provides conveniences such as a large foyer, external area for small exhibitions, cocktails, vernissages, coffee breaks and presentations; more than 60 toilet cabins; 53 fire extis around the whole pavilion; 06 social doors and 03 entrance doors exclusively for loading and unloading.


Barra da Tijuca is among the neighborhoods that most receives investments in tourism. The number of hotels keeps growing and the neighborhood already has around 12,800 hotel rooms. Out of these, 2,000 rooms are located in Rio Arena area.
